The Emirates Osteoporosis Society (EOS)

  • is a non-profit organization based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) dedicated to raising awareness about osteoporosis and bone health. Established to address the growing concern of osteoporosis within the UAE and the wider region, E0S aims to educate the public, healthcare professionals, and policymakers about the prevention, diagnosis, and management of osteoporosis.
  • EOS conducts various activities such as public awareness campaigns, educational
    seminars, workshops, and screenings to disseminate information about osteoporosis
    risk factors, early detection methods, and treatment options. Additionally, the society
    collaborates with healthcare institutions, governmental bodies, and international
    organizations to promote research and advancements in the field of osteoporosis.
  • Through its initiatives, EOS strives to reduce the burden of osteoporosis by
    empowering individuals to take proactive measures to maintain healthy bones and
    prevent fractures, ultimately improving the quality of life for those affected by this
    condition in the UAE and beyond.

The European Society for Clinical and Economic Aspects of Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis (ESCE0)

  • is a non-profit organization, dedicated to a close interaction between clinical scientists dealing with rheumatic disorders, pharmaceutical industry developing new compounds in this field, regulators responsible for the registration of such drugs and health policy makers, to integrate the management of Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis within the
    comprehensive perspective of health resources utilization.

    ESCE0 provides practitioners with the latest clinical and economic information,
    allowing them to organize their daily practice, in an evidence- based medicine
    perspective, with a cost-conscious perception.

The International Osteoporosis Foundation (I0F)

  • is a non-profit, nongovernmental organization dedicated to the worldwide fight against osteoporosis,the disease known as “the silent epidemic”, I0F’s members – committees of scientific researchers, patient, medical and research societies and industry representatives
    from around the world – share a common vision of a world without osteoporotic
